This large kawakawa leaf pendant is carved from dark green kawakawa pounamu and is a striking statement piece. The kawakawa is an important traditional medicinal plant with a variety of healing uses and isn't usually picked until the caterpillars have been eating the leaves creating the distinctive holes replicated in this bespoke piece. Finished with a hand plaited fully adjustable tan cord
